What We Collect and What We Do With It

This policy covers the information you give us when you ask for a quote, and the small amount of technical information collected when you simply read the site. We keep it short on purpose, because the rules we follow are short: we collect what is needed to evaluate and price your project, we do not sell it, we do not publish your work, and we delete project material that does not turn into an order. If anything here is unclear, ask before you send files — a question about data handling is as welcome as a question about a part.

What we collect, and where it comes from

Almost everything we hold about you was entered by you. There is no account to create and no profile built in the background beyond the aggregate traffic figures described further down.

Quote form details — the name and company you type, your email address, your country, and the description of the part or project you are asking about.
Uploaded files — photographs, sketches, STL or CAD files, scans and documents you attach so we can judge whether the part can be modelled.
Correspondence — the messages we exchange afterwards, including any measurements or clarifications you send in reply.
Basic technical data — the pages you visited and the general region your connection comes from, collected in aggregate by our analytics service.

We do not ask for payment details and we do not store card information anywhere on this site.

Why we hold it, and how long we keep it

Your details and files are used for one purpose: to understand the part you sent, decide whether we can model it, quote the work, and carry it out if you accept. That includes contacting you about the project and, if you become a customer, keeping the project files available so a revision or a repeat order does not start from zero.

Enquiries that do not turn into a project are the part most people ask about. Files and messages from a project that is not ordered are deleted once the enquiry is closed and any follow-up questions have been answered. If you would rather we delete them straight away, say so and it will be done — a quote request is not a reason for us to keep your drawings indefinitely.

For projects that do become orders, files and correspondence are kept for as long as the working relationship lasts, so that revisions and repeat production remain possible, and are deleted when you ask or when there is no longer a reason to hold them.

Use the same quote form to make the request, marking it clearly as a data request rather than a new project. It reaches the same person who handles the project files, and every enquiry receives a reply.

What happens to the files I upload for a quote?

They are used to evaluate whether your part can be modelled and to prepare your quote, and nothing else. If the project does not go ahead, the files are deleted once the enquiry is closed. If it does go ahead, they are kept so that revisions and repeat orders can be handled without you sending everything again.

Do you publish client projects or show my part anywhere?

No. We do not publish client work, client names, part details or photographs without written permission, and a request to stay private does not change how your project is handled. If your project needs a signed agreement before files change hands, say so in the enquiry and it will be arranged before anything is sent.

Can I ask you to delete my data?

Yes. Send the request through the quote form, mark it as a data request, and your project files and correspondence will be deleted. You can also ask for an export of what we hold instead. We will tell you when it is done rather than leaving you to assume it.

Do you use cookies or tracking on this site?

The site uses only what is needed to work properly for the quote form, plus aggregate analytics that show page views and general region rather than identifying individuals. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not pass browsing data on to third parties for marketing.

Is my project information ever used for anything else?

It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing, and it is not used to promote the business in any form that identifies you. The only reason we hold anything is to answer your enquiry, quote the work and deliver it if you order.
